Kiawah Island is a private island located 45 minutes outside of Charleston, SC. There is one hotel (The Andell Inn) located just outside of the island and one hotel located on the island (The Sanctuary). Hotel accommodations tend to book up fast, so we recommend you book your stay as soon as possible.
If you prefer to rent a home or villa, please visit Airbnb, Vacasa, or VRBO. We strongly recommend choosing a rental in East Beach near The Sanctuary, or West Beach near Cougar Point.
If you have a vehicle with you during the weekend, you'll be able to get a pass at the island's main gate by mentioning you are here for the Mann / Goodwin wedding. This pass will be valid from Thursday - Sunday.
Uber is only permitted on Kiawah Island from the airport. Therefore, you will not be able to call an Uber to get around the island once you are on it.
We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding, as well as shuttles to the welcome party. Pickup and drop-off locations are available on the Transportation page of the website.
Please note: if you do not plan to stay on Kiawah Island and intend to drink at the events, you will need to organize transportation back to town through a taxi company. Uber does not come out to Kiawah.
